But where is he going after the rest? It seems that there's nowhere to go.

I'm really loving the way you've rendered the mountains. Especially the distant ones. Good job on this.

The place might be just off the road, so he might backtrack. Or maybe the cave leads somewhere?

However, that's a big problem of mine currently. I haven't keep paying enough attention to the story/emotion part of the images, so that's a thing to keep in mind the next time.

Yeah. Same here. I've only recently started to think about the story. Haven't really gotten to adding it in my own paintings cause I'm still struggling so much just to do a full figure with clothes and shit. But I'm really glad that I'm starting to see story in other peoples art which makes me appreciate the art works even more. For this I have to thank the Awesome Horses. Learned a lot from their streams.

Yeah, I owe a lot to Bradley and awesome horses too.
About the problem of storytelling: I think it is rather goody to focus on the tech side primarily before diving into stories. Though you can probably tackle em both simultaneously, but I personally have problems focusing in those two aspects at the same time. Can't wait to achieve the stage where I can just paint without too much thinking. Illustrating the images straight from the mind. ;)
But I agree with you, seeing the stories really makes you appreciate 'em more.

I'm kinda thinking that he's coming from the cave. The lighting of the path to the cave and the direction he's looking gives me an that impression.
